• Co-Suffering with Our Clients

“We need to hold onto our trust in the inherent wisdom of our people’s system, even in the midst of the necessary co-suffering that comes when strong implicit experiences are awakening,” Bonnie Badenoch

We need to co-suffer with our clients with dual awareness.

Being very much okay because we have done our own work, and have our own really nourishing relationships where we have been held.

We may have an experience in early infancy where we were not held, but through our own work we gather many other mothering relationships to be in our life so we can show up with a client that is figuratively or really crying and needing care.

Our implicit needs to join with their implicit.
